Carnival for a size more

Carnival for those a little bigger! Dressing up for carnival is for everyone. However, it can be difficult to buy a carnival costume as a lady or gentleman with a size more. Especially online you can get into trouble. Read the tips below for buying a carnival suit.

Don't buy on Ebay

Many online marketplaces such as eBay and Aliexpress are great websites for accessories; you can find masks, jewelry and scarves here for small prices. We only advise against ordering costumes. These websites often work with Asian sizing. This makes an XL carnival suit comparable to a European size Medium. In order not to be stuck with the consequences of an incorrectly sized suit just before carnival, it is better to buy from Dutch shops.

Choose quality

Carnival costumes come in many different prices. You pay more for better quality. If you are unsure about the size, choose a size larger. Better that than ripping out of your costume in the middle of the dance floor!
If you can spend a bit more money, choose a suit that is a bit more expensive. The materials are often stronger. In addition, you will enjoy it longer, which is also important.

A party without dress codes
Carnival is a party where everything is allowed: sexy, clumsy or a bunch of rags. Where in everyday life you might still adhere to rules regarding clothing, this is not necessary at all at carnival. If you always wanted to wear the most intense prints together, go ahead! All the rules you had in your head can be broken on these days.

You can also take current clothing items and 'upgrade' them for carnival. Do you have a suit that needs replacing? Buy a meter of fabric and get started yourself. Or use a black dress that you already have hanging in your closet. Buy a cloak, make-up, staff and fangs to go with it. Tada, a vampire! This way an outfit doesn't have to cost an exorbitant amount of money.

We wish you all a fun, cozy and memorable carnival!
