The new academic year is almost here and that means the introduction weeks are starting. Every student city has an introduction week in which new students get to know the city of their study better. It is not only a week of getting to know the city in terms of culture, there are also fun parties.

For many new students, starting their HBO or WO studies is an exciting time. Many students have to travel daily to go to their studies or leave home to live in a student house. Quite a step!
The introduction weeks help new students find their way around the city they are going to study in. This involves introducing their studies but also the various possibilities that a city offers. For example, there are always many different events during this week. These are usually organised by student associations. Very often these are theme parties such as Dirty Disney, Barbie & Army, Disco or an “everything with the letter A” party. The fun thing about a theme party is that it challenges everyone to come up with a funny outfit . It can be very elaborate, but a jacket or a hat and wig will also get you a long way! This way you can look for a suitable outfit together with a group.
