This month it is time to get spooky again with Halloween. At Halloween any type of costume is allowed as long as it is a little scary. A Pennywise clown, vampire, zombie or maybe even a character from your favorite horror movie. The best thing is to finish your beautiful Halloween costume with spooky grime.

1. Less is more

If you are going to apply Halloween make-up yourself for the first time, it is wise not to start using liquid latex to make fake wounds. Stick to the basics, a few colours of make-up and maybe some fake blood. Black and white make-up will get you a long way! Start with the white make-up first and then go over it with black make-up, this will create the most beautiful and sharp lines. This way you can decorate your face with a mask in no time.

After you're done with that you can sprinkle some fake blood all over your face and maybe over your Halloween outfit. For that real horror look!

2. Use brushes, sponges and stencils

Do you want to give your face and neck the same colour? Great! The best way to do this is to apply make-up or makeup with a sponge. This will give you the thinnest and most even layer of make-up possible. The advantage of this is that your skin will be less plastered. Then you can draw the straight lines with good brushes.

Were you born with two left hands when it comes to applying make-up? No problem! Nowadays, there are enough stencils available so that you only have to trace the lines. In addition, there are also face stickers. You only have to stick them on, apply some fake blood and you are ready for the Halloween party!

3. Use the Internet
